Why better with a guide?

Much safer and more respectful

Remember that you are walking on volcanic territory, partly protected. A local guide knows the boundaries, the terrain and how to move without leaving a trace.

Deeper experience

Local guide knowledge, info about the island's history, a real connection and discovering hidden spots that don't appear in any guidebook.

Real memories that last

It's not just a walk. It's an immersion in the landscape, culture and geology of Lanzarote that you will remember long after you have returned home.

Benty tip:

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the route if I don't know the island?
No need to choose now. You can select the option “I don't know which route to choose yet, I prefer to indicate my level” and our guide will suggest the right route for you based on your level, the wind, and the day's conditions.
What levels can I book if I indicate my level instead of a specific route?
Choose from four levels: Basic Level (1–8 pax · 12 km · 3 h · 1,200 m elevation gain · 70 €/person), Intermediate Level (1–6 pax · 20 km · 5 h · 2,000 m · 90 €/person), Advanced Level (1–4 pax · 35 km · 8 h · 3,000 m · 150 €/person), and Extreme Level (1–2 pax · 50 km · 10 h · 4,500 m · 240 €/person). All include refreshments and a souvenir of the experience.
What specific routes can be booked with Benty in Lanzarote?
If you prefer a specific route, you can choose from six guided routes: Volcán de la Corona (6 km, easy), Caldera Blanca (9.5 km, easy/medium), Risco de Famara (8 km, medium), Timanfaya on foot (up to 10 km, medium), Camino de los Gracioseros (7 km, advanced), and the Famara – Órzola traverse (18 km, advanced).
How much does each specific route cost?
Volcán de la Corona costs €70 per person. Caldera Blanca, Risco de Famara, and Timanfaya cost €90 per person. Camino de los Gracioseros and the Famara – Órzola traverse cost €150 per person.
Do I need prior experience?
For the Basic Level and easy routes, reasonable physical fitness is sufficient. Medium and High levels require good physical condition and experience walking on uneven terrain. The Extreme Level and the Famara – Órzola traverse are designed for very experienced hikers with excellent physical fitness.
When do the routes start?
We depart on Thursdays and Saturdays from 6:00 AM, to avoid the heat and take advantage of the best daylight.
What's included in the price?
Professional guide with years of experience in high-endurance sports, Civil Liability, Accidents, and Rescue insurance, aid station during the route, and a souvenir of the experience, plus knowledge of Lanzarote's volcanic terrain.
What should I bring?
Shoes with good grip, comfortable sports clothing, a jacket (it's cool in the mountains), a cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, at least 2 L of water, and light food. In winter, a windbreaker.
