Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Scope

This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs the terms applicable to bookings of experiences and activities purchased through Benty (Benty Operations S.L., CIF B22837678).

2. Cancellation by the customer

As a general rule, the customer may cancel their booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the experience and will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or no-shows shall not entitle the customer to a refund, unless the experience listing expressly sets out different conditions, which shall prevail in each case.

3. Refund procedure

Refunds are processed through Stripe, to the same payment method used for the booking. The amount is normally returned within 5 to 10 business days from confirmation of the cancellation, subject to the issuing bank's timelines. To request a refund, write to us at office@benty.es stating your order number.

4. Cancellation due to weather or force majeure

When an experience must be cancelled for weather, maritime or other force-majeure reasons beyond the control of the customer and Benty (swell, wind, official alerts, etc.), the customer may choose to:

  • Reschedule the experience to another available date at no extra cost, by means of a voucher equivalent to the amount paid; or
  • If no alternative date is possible because of the end of their stay, request a full refund via Stripe, providing proof of the departure date.

5. Cancellation by the provider

If the local provider of the activity cancels the experience for any reason, the customer shall be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid or, if preferred, to reschedule the activity.

6. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article 103.l) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to leisure, sports and recreational activities provided on a specific date or during a specific performance period. The applicable cancellation conditions are therefore those set out in this policy.
