Yoga in Lanzarote

Lanzarote is an island made for outdoor yoga: stable temperatures all year round, clear sunrises over the Atlantic, and a volcanic landscape that invites silence. No need to wait for summer — in fact, winter is the best season.

In this guide, you'll find where to practice yoga on the island, what types of classes are available, how much they cost, and what to expect from each area: Costa Teguise, Puerto del Carmen, and Playa Blanca have very different atmospheres.

And if you're looking for something different from a conventional class, our Silent Yoga with wireless headphones by the sea is the most unique experience you can have in Lanzarote first thing in the morning.

Types of yoga classes in Lanzarote

Silent Yoga with headphones

The most unique modality on the island: wireless headphones, music, and guidance directly to your ear, zero outside noise. It works just as well with or without wind and creates a bubble of concentration that is difficult to achieve in an open class.

Sunrise Yoga by the sea

60-minute sessions first thing in the morning, when the beach is empty and the temperature is perfect. The favorite option for those who want to start their day before an excursion, surfing, or the pool.

Private and couple classes

Session adapted to your level, with focus options: mobility, breathwork, deep relaxation, or post-sport recovery. We come to your accommodation or a quiet coastal spot.

Yoga for groups and hotels

Sessions for groups of friends, retreats, companies, and hotels. We bring all the equipment — including mats and headphones — and adapt the duration and intensity to the group.

Where to practice

Yoga in Costa Teguise

Playa, paseo marítimo y amaneceres despejados

Costa Teguise is probably the best starting point for practicing yoga in Lanzarote: clear sunrises over the Atlantic, quiet beaches early in the morning, and stable temperatures year-round. At 8:00 AM, the area is practically empty, and the sound of the sea does the rest.

This is where our Silent Yoga sessions begin: each person wears wireless headphones, so the teacher's voice is crystal clear even with wind, and the rest of the world disappears. It's a very different way to practice outdoors without the usual distractions of a beach class.

Where to practice

Yoga in Puerto del Carmen

La zona con más oferta de clases de la isla

Puerto del Carmen concentrates most of the studios, hotels with classes, and independent teachers in Lanzarote. If you stay there, you'll find everything from hatha and vinyasa to yin and breathing classes, almost always in the early morning or at sunset.

It's also a convenient base for booking a private class: you can practice on your accommodation's terrace, in a quiet coastal spot, or on the beach before people arrive. We travel to you for private sessions.

Where to practice

Yoga in Playa Blanca and the south

Menos viento, luz suave y calas resguardadas

The south of the island is the most sheltered option when the trade winds blow. Playa Blanca and its surroundings offer protected coves, wide promenades, and very soft light at the end of the day, perfect for a slow or restorative practice.

It's the ideal area if you travel during the windiest months (July and August) and want to ensure a comfortable outdoor session without sacrificing sea views.

What is Silent Yoga?
It's a yoga class where each participant wears wireless headphones. The teacher's voice and music go directly to your ear, without interference from the wind, the sea, or the surroundings. The result is a much more concentrated practice, especially outdoors.
How much does a yoga class cost in Lanzarote?

Do I need prior experience?
No. The sessions are adapted to the group's level, and all postures are explained step-by-step. They are also suitable if you have back discomfort or want a gentle practice for mobility and breathing.
What should I bring to a beach yoga class?
Comfortable clothing, a towel, water, and sunscreen. We provide the mats and headphones. In the early morning, an extra thin layer is advisable: it's cool until the sun comes up.
